Welcome to ClubConnect. This document outlines the legally binding terms and conditions that govern your access to and use of our platform, services, and associated directory.
By accessing, registering for, or interacting with the ClubConnect platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Beta Limitation of Liability
Please note that ClubConnect is currently in an active Beta Preview state.
- The platform is provided "as is" and "as available".
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free functionality.
- Data loss, though unlikely, may occur during major platform updates.
1. Use of the Platform
ClubConnect is designed exclusively for the students, faculty, and administration of GITAM University to facilitate campus engagement.
- Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process (including your official university Roll Number).
- Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
- Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws, exploits vulnerabilities in the code, or interferes with the operation of the network.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
The overall structure, design, codebase, and original conceptual rendering of ClubConnect are the exclusive property of OneRiki.
- Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of OneRiki.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform strictly in accordance with these Terms.
3. User-Generated Content
Our platform allows you (in your capacity as a student or club leader) to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content").
- Ownership: You retain any and all of your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Service.
- License to Us: By posting Content using the Service, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service.
- Responsibility: You warrant that you own the Content or have the right to use it, and that the posting of your Content on or through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, or any other rights of any person.
4. Termination & Suspension
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact support for data deletion.
Governing Guidelines
Termination is primarily enforced based on violations of our Community Guidelines. Please review the Community Guidelines carefully to understand prohibited behaviors.
5. Changes and Revisions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.
